Terms of Service

By creating an account, generating a report, or otherwise using ProofClean (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a cleaning company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to it.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

ProofClean turns before-and-after cleaning photos into professional PDF proof-of-clean reports. Depending on your plan, the Service may include the report generator, saved reports, and watermark-free PDFs on paid plans. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by crew members you invite, and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly at admin@proofclean.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

ProofClean offers a free plan and the Crew plan at $29 per month. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance each month and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from your account. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which you move to the free plan. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or downgrades, except where required by law.

Payments are processed by our payment provider. If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid features until payment succeeds. We may change our prices; if we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice before a change applies to your existing subscription.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: (a) upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use; (b) use the Service to create misleading or fraudulent reports, including staged or falsified before/after photos presented as genuine; (c) attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data; (d) resell or sublicense the Service except as expressly permitted by your plan; or (e) use the Service in violation of applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You own the photos you upload and the reports the Service generates from them. We claim no ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, store, and transmit your content solely to operate and improve the Service, for example, to generate PDFs, deliver reports to your clients, and keep backups.

You are responsible for your content, including obtaining any consents needed to photograph the locations you service and to share those photos with your clients.

The Service itself, including its software, design, templates, and the ProofClean name and logo, is owned by ProofClean and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for your own content, these terms do not grant you any rights in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with your plan.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will meet any particular contractual or regulatory requirement between you and your clients.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProofClean will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service during that period (or $100 if you have paid nothing).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable notice, for example, by email or a notice in the app, before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
